Terms of Service

By accessing or using CustomAtlas, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must approve your use. CustomAtlas is not directed to children under 13.

Provide accurate account information, protect access to your sign-in method, and promptly report unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Subject to these Terms, you may use files you lawfully export for personal, educational, editorial, and commercial work. You may not resell access to CustomAtlas, represent the service or source library as your own, or use the service to violate another person’s rights.

Base geography comes from Natural Earth public-domain data and is modified by CustomAtlas. Geographic boundaries, names, and classifications may be incomplete, disputed, or out of date and are not professional surveying, legal, or navigation advice.

Do not abuse, disrupt, scrape at excessive volume, reverse engineer access controls, bypass rate limits, upload unlawful material, infringe rights, distribute malware, or use sharing features to harass others. You must have the right to use any text or other content you add to a map.

CustomAtlas is a beta service. Features, map coverage, and limits may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We may suspend abusive or unsafe activity and may discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.

The service and map data are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CustomAtlas disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CustomAtlas is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date. You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, fraud, security threats, or legal requirements.
