CustomAtlas does not require an account. When you use the site, we may collect limited technical and usage information such as page path, locale, session timing, browser metadata, and basic device or network information needed to operate and secure the service.

When you export a map, we process the map ID, export format, selected settings, and limited request metadata so the server can generate the SVG, PNG, or PDF file you requested.

If you contact us by email or through a feedback form, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, bug details, or map requests.

We use collected information to provide the website, generate requested exports, respond to support messages, fix bugs, understand which pages and tools are useful, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and maintain security.

We do not use personal information for cross-site advertising, behavioral ad targeting, or sale to data brokers.

We may use service providers for hosting, storage, analytics, database operations, email, feedback forms, and security. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to CustomAtlas.

The site currently uses Supabase for operational data storage and may link to Google Forms for feedback collection. Information submitted to third-party forms is also handled under that provider's terms and privacy policy.

Generated export files are created on demand and are not intended to be stored after delivery. Operational logs, analytics records, support messages, and security records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

You can choose not to submit feedback forms or email messages. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection related to personal information we hold about you.

To make a privacy request, contact us with enough information to understand and verify the request. We will respond as required by applicable law.

CustomAtlas is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this privacy policy when the service, legal requirements, or data practices change. Updates are effective when posted on this page with a revised last updated date.
